LandlordR Privacy Policy

LandlordR (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Plainspoken Foundry Nine. This policy explains what information the LandlordR application and website (landlordr.plainspokenfoundrynine.com) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. LandlordR is a business tool provided to property owners and managers.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
  • Content you create. Properties, units, leases, tenant contacts, rent charges and payments, maintenance requests, expenses, vendor records, inspections, documents, and related notes you enter into the app. This content belongs to your account.
  • Photos and files. Images and documents you capture with your device camera or attach from your library — for example, photos of a document, a property condition, or a maintenance issue — which are stored against the record you attach them to.
  • Usage and diagnostic data. We may collect limited product-analytics and diagnostic information (for example, sign-in events and basic interaction data) to operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

We use the information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, keep your portfolio's data separated and secure, maintain records for accountability, diagnose problems, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How information is shared

Your account's content is private to your account and isolated from every other owner on the platform. We share information only with service providers that help us run LandlordR (such as hosting and analytics providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not share your data with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

4. Data security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is restricted by authentication, and each owner's portfolio is isolated from all others.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].

6. Children's privacy

LandlordR is a business tool intended for use by adults (18+) in a professional context. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
